Kate is a member of TrueBridge’s investment team, focusing on due diligence and industry analysis. She also leads the firm’s corporate partnership efforts.
Kate worked alongside TrueBridge co-founder Mel Williams at UNC Management Company as an investment associate, where she helped manage the firm’s portfolios in private equity, venture capital, real estate, energy and natural resources, and enhanced fixed income. Before joining TrueBridge, she worked as a director at Parish Capital Advisors, where she was active in primary fund investing, secondary transactions, and co-investments. She has served on numerous fund advisory boards.
Kate serves on the Finance and Audit Committee for the Board of Directors of the John Rex Endowment. She previously served as an advisor to Atlas Diligence (acquired by RCP Advisors), where she helped outsource private market intelligence. She is currently a member of the Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN) and the local chapter of 100 Women in Finance. In 2022, Kate joined the Board of Trustees at St. Andrew’s School.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As an undergraduate, she was a member of the two-time NCAA Championship Women’s Field Hockey Team and completed a business program at the Carolina Business Institute.
