Yulia joins us as we continue to thoughtfully scale our investment team. We have known her for several years and have been consistently impressed by her investment judgment, analytical rigor, and her ability to navigate the manager ecosystem. She brings a disciplined, institutional approach alongside strong connectivity within the venture and private equity landscape.
Yulia’s background is rooted in endowments and foundations, where she developed a long-term, portfolio-oriented perspective early in her career. After business school, she spent time in investment banking before returning to investing — a path that has sharpened both her technical underwriting capabilities and her conviction in the work itself.
Most recently, she was a Principal at Adams Street Partners, where she focused on investments across venture capital and private equity. In that role, she evaluated and partnered with a wide range of managers, including many within the same networks where we focus, and developed a strong track record of disciplined underwriting and portfolio construction. Her experience working with both established and emerging managers is particularly relevant to our strategy.
Yulia combines strong analytical capability with sound judgment – she’s able to go deep on the underwriting while maintaining a clear perspective on manager quality and portfolio fit.
She holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, is a CFA charterholder, and graduated from Smith College with a degree in Economics.
